Hi this is more of a general question, but I heard that even if your motherboard/processor allows it, you should not combine different memory types, such as SDRAM and DDR SDRAM.

Its true you shouldnt mix RAM, I think its because they need to run at the same speeds. Plus it just makes more sense to run the same exact RAM for compatability.

hello some mobo,s have slots for sdram and slots for ddr ram. and like posted above only one type of ram at one time!

If you have a mobo that accepts either PC133 SDRAM or DDR RAM, you have to choose one or the other, you can't use both...they run at different voltages...PC133 voltage is 3.3v, DDR RAM is 2.5v
