Would like your thoughts - I just got some Mushkin memory and there are stickers on the actual memory that have the model number and say "warranty void if removed".
I have some heat spreaders that I want to put on the memory that use the double-sided tape. Will putting these spreaders on the memory void the warranty? I'm assuming that taking the spreader off would ruin the stickers.
I checked the manufact. website but couldn't find any info.

Like I said, heat spreaders are unnecessary. If you wanna install them to make your RAM "look pretty" & risk losing your lifetime warranty, go right ahead

They make a lot of money off that stuff, though.
Mushkin could say the heat spreaders actually caused the memory to fail if it ever does.
