what memory (exact type and number) do i neen for this combo of mobo and cpu

This is from Gigabyte's website, why don't you look there.

I did look but im not to good with the answer
so if i ordered DDR400(PC3200) and i have 3 slots and i want 512 can i order 2x 256 sticks or does all the slots have to be full
