Alright well here's the deal, i bought a Soyo P4I865 Plus and i installed it and everything and it starts up but the screen is blank....... so i checked the manual and it says it supports pc2100, 2700, and 3200... but i have installed pc2400. Could this be the fault that is making my computer not work? please respond.

The Soyo P4I865 takes Dual DDR400/333/266 memory which translates into PC2100, PC2700 PC3200 DDR RAM. Refer to this article ..

even though it references Corsair PC2400 DDR Memory; you must overclock the motherboard (it appears) to make it work.

Good luck,
Sandor
