I have two computers: P4 3.0ghz ht 865G chipset and two memory modules of 256MB in that computer. I think that they are working on dual channel or something?
The second is amd athlon 2200 (dont know chipset) which also has two 256MB memory modules.
Can I take one memory module from amd and put it in intel computer? What would happen to dual channel? Can I put older 128MB SDRam in any of the computers?

Thanks in advance

SDR-SDRAM has 168-pins & 2 notches...DDR-SDRAM has 184-pins & one notch. They cannot be interchangeable.

As for your dual channel question...if you add a 3rd stick, you're no longer running in dual mode
