It's an interesting concept, a CD killing a computer - what's it doing? - sliding through the drive & throttling the cabling??

Seriously,I've always had problems with Memorex CDs so I don't even bother buying them now. Personally I've found Imation and Infiniti to be cheap, reliable brands.

Sony is very good too. But, you get what you pay for except with Imation and infiniti. They are both good. Avoid digital research, too!!!

You need to be running programs like CDSpeed or if youve a LiteOn drive or a drive that supports it K's Probe to test the burnt media for quality, the only CD Media i use in my Liteon CD-RW is Philips 52x Moser baer india, brilliant discs and i can get a pack of 75 from the market for £9 compared to £20-£25 from PC World! and theres no difference whatsoever in quality
