Hi there people, I am looking for some help and thought hopefully this is a good place, not to start, as such, since i already tried the manufacturer but their contact form is broken.

I have a medion akoya mini e1210 and had a problems with my windows so i reinstalled but accidently deleted the recovery partition. Luckily I had backed up the files though.

The problem I have is that my F3 recovery doesnt work even when i recreate a partition and put the files there.

Would anybody please be kind enough to help me fix the recovery partition for f3 on boot or send me a disc image of a clean install. Even if you totally erase contents of the Windows partition, I just need the drive layout with partitions and boot record so that my recovery partition will work again.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

The recovery partition usually contains an 'image' of the system. This image is created by the factory before the system is sent out, and is unique for each system.

I think you need to contact the manufacturer and see if they can supply you with what you need, probably at a small price.

I have that "image backed up, because I backed up the entire contents of the drive before it got accidently removed. The image is in 3 .GHS and 1 .GHO files, I know the format is norton ghost, or a medion equivalent based on norton ghost (they cite norton ghost in their repair util) and split into 700 odd MB files. My question is, even if I can restore this disk image, will it be an image of the entire drive and therefore repair my lost partition, or will it be only an image of the windows partition. The windows partition alone to me is no use, because I have the windows disk and can simply reinstall windows, but I want the working recovery parition with an image, just in case.
