i have a 16gb sd card hp i have pictures in it but some how when i put it in the tv media reader its saying its not detected. i tried powerpoint presentation to see if its gonna work in the tv so far no luck i tried movie maker not working. my question is how can i show the pictures in the tv media reader? what format do i need to use/ or what do i do to show pictures in the tv media reader?

The capacity of the card may be an issue too. The TV may not be able to handle 16GB cards.
Some devices are also very picky when it comes to the location of the pictures on the card. Try creating a folder on the card named DCIM and put the pictures in there. The pictures may also need to be in the 8.3 naming convention. If the pictures have a name longer than 8 letters, rename them with a 8 letter name. The pictures should be in jpeg format.
