Are you sure it's an MP3 format? MP3's don't have digital Rights Management so either it's in a format that does, or something is up with your player. You haven't mentioned what make and model player it is so we can't really help any further until we know but if you can plug your player into your computer and copy the audio file over to your hard drive you could try to play it that way. you could also take a cable and run it from the audio out on your player to the audio in on your computer, then using recording software such as Audacity, record the sermon on to your computer.

Try installing VLC Player & see if it will play thru that.

Hi Murps,

does the recording play ok, on the same you player it was recorded on?

You advised it (the recording?) played before - with the media player that now fails?

Are you sure the recording in mp3 format?

Have you tried a different media player as suggested by Riider above?

Good Luck - Keep us posted.
