Hey,
I'm wanting to put together a my own purpose built media center, now i'm no newbie when it come to building computers..
I am looking put my SKY tv decoder through the GeForce 5600 as you get the MSI Media Center Deluxe II with this which enables you to pause live tv ect....
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WEATHER I CAN LINK THE DECODER BOX STRAIGHT TO IT AND USE THE SOFTWARE TOO ???
ALSO HAS ANYONE GOT ANY TIPS FOR BUILDING A MEDIA CENTER ( all ideas welcome )

I looked up the GeForce 5600 and it has TV 'out' and digital video 'in'. The digital video 'in' is for camcorders. It is not compatible with your SKY TV decoder. Sorry! You might consider a card that accepts TV in.

However I need to plug the SKY decoder into something as I want to make full use of the software that comes with the GeForce, ( Media Center Deluxe II ).
The GeForce will take up a AGP slot, this will leave me a PCI slot. In the Specs for the MSI GeForce 5600 Remote Control it says that the TV Tuner will only support the MSI @nywhere TV Tuner, Will I be able to plug in the SKY decoder to that ??
