Hi. I have a motherboard socket 462 i would like to use, but i can not make out the manufacture of the motherboard, only the serial no. I need help, is there a way to find out. Thanks in advance Horst

Hi, If all else fails get the Maker's name and the part number off the BIOS CHIP. If that fails watch for the BIOS info to appear at the bottom left corner of the screen on boot. When you see it press SHIFT/PAUSE to stop the action. Copy the info down and hit any key to continue. Go to the BIOS maker's site. They know who they sold that bios to and should have the MB Maker's name and Model Number. Good Luck, Jim

Hi, Additionally - If you can get the maker and number off the CHIPSET you can get the drivers from them. They furnish the drivers to the MB maker. Jim
