I have a m920 system board mb, and previously a gef 2 mx, I just bought a AIW ATI 9800 pro, and I cannot get this card to pick up. After I install it, when I turn the comp on, nothing happens, monitor does not turn on as if there is a signal, however the box doesn't beep as if there is no video card at all. I can put my geforce back in, and it's fine. My mb is 4x, and the 9800pro is 4x/8x. I can't figure this out. I bascially turn it on, and everything powers up, but nothing happens. Please help.

I don't know what's wrong with it, but I would recommend NOT PUTTING IT IN AGAIN. I've heard of people's computers getting fried because they kept switching out stuff when it wouldn't work, so until you find an answer, don't mess with it. OOH! Chack with ATI to see if it is compatible, I believe the voltage used for 8x cards may be lower than for 4x and some MBs are able to supply the proper voltage and some aren't.
