A real novice question. Where do I find my motherboard manufacturer and model #. I just never needed it before, thanks.

Hi, If no luck on the board - During boot watch for the BIOS Maker and Designation at the left bottom of the screen. Happens real soon. When you see it press SHIFT/PAUSE to freeze the screen. Write it down. Go to the maker's site and search for the info. They know who they sold that bios chip to and usually will identify the maker and the MB model Number.
Good luck, Jim
