Today I bought a 200GB Maxtor OneTouch II External Harddrive, I chose it for it's backup abilitites. Now I can copy files to it fine, but when I try any of the backup options in "Retrosprect Express HD", after about 5 seconds once it has started, I get the blue screen of death. Before I get the time to read it, my laptop (Asus M6R) restarts. I have tried the USB and Firewire cords, and I cant find any hardware updates. Maybe I can upgrade the retrospect express HD?

UPDATE: I installed the prefessional edition of retrospect, and it crashed again. Any ideas?

Maybe contact Retrospect's tech support or try a different backup program.
