Hi I have an external maxtor 3000LS model which has 40GB drive. I want to upgrade to a bigger drive so I wonder anyone know what is the max capacity this enclosure can handle? (I do not have extra drive to try out).

I don't think there is a limmit to what size drive an enclosure can have, the biggest drives today are 300gb but they run at 5400rpm and the 250gb run at 7200rpm. Although Maxtor drives are noisy i've just bought one and they are really fast and stable.
