Hi all
I was trying to use maxblast 3 to set up my 120gig HD and it formats the drive and tells me to reboot and when the maxtor splash screen comes up to hit c to put in my windows me cd. But when I do it dosnt see my cd and trys to boot to HD which has no OS on it what can I do.
Things I have tryed
1. diffrent OS cd
2. flash Bios
3. Install win 98
4. Install Win XP

The only OS I have ever gotten to see my 120gig(through maxblast) is win me and then I could upgrade to XP.
Any Ideas?

What OS do you want to instal? Is it XP? DO you have a full XP instal disk? If so is it SP1/SP2 or an older pre-SP1 version?
Have you set CDROM as first boot device in bios? Why do you think you need to be running the MAXBLAST software in order to instal an operating system?

Check your boot device priority in the BIOS, and set the CD/DVD as the first boot device, then try to boot from it.

I have an upgrade cd with sp1
I have set the cd to boot first.
I want to use all of my 120gigHD and it currently only sees 32gig.
Thanks
Brian
