Master Disk HDD SMART Capability Disabled

Specs: Windows XP
my computer fails to start up, whenever i start it up, it starts up, and when it reaches here states that " IDE CHANNEL 0
Master Disk HDD S.M.A.R.T capability....... Disabled.
what can i do fix this, it can't even allow me to enter into its BIOS, maybe i would be able to enable its capability. because all F keys can't work. what can i do please help!

Just because SMART is disable doesn't mean that there is a problem.

Put a PS/2 keyboard on it and try to access bios. Try to set it to boot to a cd. Boot to any known working bootable cd or if supported a dvd. If so then consider trying either to test or repair.

but i already use PS/2 Keyboard type, but when the PC is starting up, the Function Keys don't respond, so there is no way to access bios, any other help on how these keys can respond? thank you
