OS: XP Pro
CPU/Ram: Core 2 Duo E4300 OC @2.8G
Product: Customz
Comment:

I need to up my RAM voltage and CPU voltage in order to OC my CPU to 3.4GHz. But my motherboard won't let me. When I press enter to set the vCore in the BIOS, it doesn't do anything. And the RAM voltage setting is shaded grey, and doesn't open when I press enter.

Do I need do disable/enable anything? All the spread spectrums are disabled, plus C1E, Speedstep, and DOT are all disabled.

on my asus a7v8x you had to move a jumper on the mobo to enable over-volting in the bios. dont know if yours is the same

Sorry, Jam. I looked at all those reviews and none of them mentioned the problem I have.

You have to do some reading....it's all there. Make sure you have BIOS version 1.2.

http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?...

Under Cell Menu, you have to disable D.O.T. Control, disable Intel EIST, set System Clock mode to Manual (possibly 'Linked'), disable ALL Spread Spectrum Options, lock the PCI-e freq at 100MHz, & adjust the bus speeds & voltages.

My BIOS is 1.2. DOT is disabled, EIST is disabled, Sys Clock is Manual, All Spread Spectrums disabled, and PCI-e is at 100MHz. Still doesn't work. ..

One can only do so much thru a forum. Possibly if I had your PC in front of me, I could figure it out, but as for now, I have no more suggestions other than to check your BIOS settings. My guess is you're missing something.
