Hi, I just received the following motherboard to replace a dead moboard in an older Compaq (I got it off some site on pricewatch). It didn't come with a manual and I couldn't find anything for it online. The connect for the power switch is different than the old board, so I need to rewire the connectors, but I have no clue which pins are for what. These following #'s were listed on the motherboard:
PWA-PWA-Camaro MotherBoard
PCB-TWA-Camaro MotherBoard
ASSAY 411701500005-RIf anybody has a clue on where to find a pdf file or w/e of the manual, or if you actually have the manual and can kinda gimme a clue as to which pins are for what, I'd reallllly appreciate it :D
Otherwise, I guess I'll just play needle-in-a-haystack til they all work :(

Just found a forum site here:

In the second post from Aussie stands:The Compaq Camaro motherboard is an OEM version of the Mitac 5114VU.

You can download a manual from Mitac by navigating from this page:-
http://www.mitacservice.com/visitor/v_filebrw.asp
Under the "All Products Catagory" window scroll down until you find 5114VU and select it, on the next page click the "Go" button and that will take you to the 5114VU download page.
Aussie
Check it out and compare it with your board!!!
Good luck!

Try this. Seems you are not the only one with the problem. First reply down.

Stuart

I answer a lot of the posts at the site below.
Collected info for Pwa-Pwa-Camaro mboard, used in Compaq 74xx series, and for Mitac 5114vu
Mitac made the mboard, sold it as 5114vu, also supplied it OEM to Compaq
each has its own bios version - it is best to stick with the bios brand you have, but if you are careful one can be used on the other.
Only Mitac manual has led, switch pinouts.
Compaq and Mitac manuals both should have USB pinouts. On this site

Re: Pwa-Pwa Camaro motherboard: info, manual, drivers, software HERE
posted by Mike (Iatan) on 15-Nov-03Main chipset is Via MVP4, with integrated Trident Blade 3D AGP 2x video. The Trident video drivers are separate from the chipset drivers, are not on Via site, but are on the Compaq or Mitac (or Trident?) site.
This video is fair, but its support of DVD playback is POOR.
