A Mail 15-pin like on the end of the monitor?

When you say 'male' do you mean a D multipin - same as the monitor, just male?
If so it may be an add-on accelerator card - popular when Voodoo cards first came in, they worked alongside your original card with a patch cable going between the 2.

If it looks like a monitor connector, might be a video in/out interface of some kind. I had a combo IOmega scsi/video in out that I got out of an old computer, but it needed an interface box from there that split out the video/audio.

Yes you just use it as an add-on accelerator card. Probably only has 8 or 16Mb memory though and it's still 'old' technology, but will certainly improve some gameplay. You need a small patch cable to go from your original card to the voodoo card and then your monitor plugs into the other socket on the voodoo. You should still be able to download drivers if you do a search in Google.
Any problems/queries, drop me an e-mail.
