LOST FILES - PLease HELP

Hi, i have a CREATIVE mp3 player, using napster, i accidentally deleted ALL my songs from the mp3 player, they didn't get taken to the recycle bin, is there anything i can do to get them back? free software would be nice! :> THanks in advance

Not sure what you mean? I think it is just memory 512mb

I can't help then, but I think its hopeless. For your sake I hope I'm wrong. One thing is certain, you shouldn't access that player at all until you're sure. With HD file storage, the platter isn't actually erased when you delete something, it's just marked as erased and eventually overwritten. With static memory I think when you erased it, it was purged from the memory and there is no residual data. As I said I could be wrong about that.

When you plug it in, does your Windows machine see it as a DRIVE or as a device? Does it get allocated a letter, like drive F or G?

If YES, then all is not lost.
