lost dvd/cd rom drivers.. help!

I lost drivers for the "HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8160B"(hitachi) dvd drive and "TEAC CD-W524e" cdrw drive... where can i find drivers for these drives? I Have a Sony Vaio model[PCV-RX660] and is running Windows XP Home edition and I've looked ALL over(even the company websites) and couldnt be able to match the drivers. PLEASE help because i need to run CDs!! much thanks

XP has the drivers and/or generic drivers, how did you lose the drivers? do you mean the disc?

Reinstall XP if its not too much bother. Then you will just get the generic drivers back if they are corrupted. Very rare for that to happen though.
