I upgraded from win 98 to 2000 and lost -SMC IrCC Fast infrared port -Communications port(COM1) -Crystal WDM audio codec My computer is a Dell latitude, what should I do to have my drivers and sound back?

Use install new hardware in the configuration panel and choose standard Com port.For sound etc ,search the web by using the word drivers as a web address and follow the links found.
