I have a Toshiba Satellite L25 Laptop The power jack was just loose for a few month, all I had to do was wiggle it around a little bit to get it to power up and now my wiggle method will not work(which I regret). The jack got pushed further in than it is supposed to be... How can I get it back to where it needs to be?
I do this for a fee. I am however not trying to sell this service to you however what you need to do is remove the motherboard from the laptop - this is very labor intensive and I would clasify it as advanced. You need to check the solder joints on the power jack and see if you can just replace the power jack or if you need to replace the entire motherboard. You can usually buy these for around $25 on ebay (the power jack not the motherboard) depending on which one your laptop takes. PM Me if you want to have me do it. Otherwise you should call a local computer repair center and ask the price and if they can do it. Best of luck.
