I'm getting ready to upgrade my graphics card because the last one is shot. The graphics card I'm looking to buy requires a 400w power supply. I've been looking around but I can't seem to find a 400w or better power supply for a low profile pc. Any help finding one would be greatly appreciated. The computer I have is an Acer Aspire X1420G. Please tell me they exist. =D
Graphics cards manufacturers have a tendency to overstate the wattage requirements. They know all PSUs are not created equal so their recommendation is often higher than really necessary. What graphics card do you have & what makes you think it's "shot"? And what card are you thinking of upgrading to?
