logitech speakers x-530 not working

Specs: Windows XP
my speaker is turning on but no sound will it be cause i did'nt add the other four speakers into the sub cause the only speaker that i got is the sub and the main speaker that hold the volum and the power on and off?

Are you sure everything is connected properly? Did you try plugging headphones into the front of the "main speaker"? Here's the manual: http://www.logitech.com/en-za/suppo...

Are you sure you plugged the speaker into the output port (likely Green) rather than an input port, like the Red/Pink microphone port?

If you have a Realtek sound chip then you need to use the sound manager to configure the ports AND the speaker configuration. Test them in sound manager too.

Even if the correct port is shown, you must click on it to set it.
