I have installed the camera as it is recommended in the camera manual, but it does not work.In order to understand better my problem I will write down the stages which I passed through:
1. I have connected the USB cables to the mother board because my USB ports are located there (the motherboard is manufactured in 1998)
2. I entered the BIOS,switched to Integrated Peripherals menu and changed the option "USB Keyboard Support" to Enable. As far as I saw this is the only one option concerning USB ports.
3. After that I installed the necessary software from Logitech CD.
4. I plugged the camera to the computer.Windows 98 recognised it and load the necessary drivers.
5. After starting the camera applications I got the message that my camera is not connected to the computer.
6. I checked Control Panel/System/Device Manager and saw that in front of the Logitech QuickCam Express name there is yellow exclamation mark.
7. I uninstalled all the Logitech software and unplugged the camera. After that I repeated the steps mentioned above and the result is the same.My camera still does not work. And I don't know what to do.

Hi nick.
Have you run Microsoft Update?
Besides allowing you to choose critical updates, Microsoft Update also tells you if you need driver updates such as USB support.
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
Click on - Scan for updates
Then follow directions for whatever updates you want. You can always go back later and update more options. You don't have to update everything in one sitting.
Look at the left menu and click on - Driver Updates to see if your USB has updated drivers available.
Take care,Linda
