Hi all, if anyone can help will be greatly appreciated.

Have a wireless logitech mouse and I am now having to press the little green connect button on the bottom all the time. When I do this the mouse works and if I keep moving it it doesnt freeze but am getting tendonitis! If the mouse stops at any time I have to press the connect button again. There has been no known damage to mouse or receiver but I am fairly clueless about this whole wireless thing!!! Everything else working fine, keyboard etc and as I said the mouse works when green button pressed and if I keep moving it (literally) works fine but as soon as I stop moving the mouse it freezes and have to hit the button.

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Go to the mouse properties, power management and make sure that allow computer to shut off this device in UNCHECKED.

I assume you've tried locating the transmitter/receiver nearer the mouse.

It might be possible to change the frequency, just in case there is some interference about.

Zenith... you're absolutely correct!

I was having to press CONNECT constantly... I thought if the red light on the bottom looked bright, then the batteries were fine... apparently that's not the case!

Thank you Zenith!
