When I turn my computer on...it acts as if it is logging on as normal...then a screen comes up with several options....to log on in safe mode...last known option that worked....ect....after I select one option and hit enter...it acts as if it is going to log on...but comes back to same page...selecting all of the options still brings me back to this page...while on this page...it also has a count down timer for windows to automatically start...even if you let it start up...it goes through the motions ...and ends up back on this page....please help...Thank You

If normal and safe don't work you choice is to either try to use debug and figure out what is bad or consider a "repair" with the XP disk. Other choices are to use live cd/dvd's to access the drive and repair or at least transfer off data.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
