I wonder if they meant to say `Digital Input'? Some LCD monitors have `digital inputs' that can be connected to a video card with digital outputs.

Yes My mistake, it is Digital Inputs, still don't quite understand I am sure it is what you mean, but does it make a difference this one does not have the Digital Input....does it matter? What does it make better the screen?, because the screen is great, can't imagine it being any better.

I've read that it's supposed to be better, but I wonder myself.

Yes I can't seem to find out why you would need it, the screen picture is wonderful can't imagine it being any better and can't beat the price, so what ever it is must not be that important or noticable? Thanks Sue

The Digital Input is also known as DVI. I think the common perception is that digital=better, but that's not the case here. I have an LCD monitor that has both a VGA input and DVI. The VGA actually looks better. The whole thing with DVI is the signal stays stronger than on a VGA cable. If you're planning on putting your monitor on the other side of the room and have to use a really long cable, the DVI cable should keep a stronger signal and give you a better picture. If you're just using a standard length cable, however, it's been my experience that a standard VGA cable is better.
Also, your video card has to have a DVI port to be able to use it anyway.

Thanks, I think this one is fine and the VGA cable is what I have anyway. Thanks again
