Linksys-N Router Won't Connect to Internet

January 10, 2011 at 13:19:20
Specs: Macintosh
I have a WRT310N router (for a mac). It has been working fine for over a year and then the other day the wireless internet just stopped working. I have plugged my laptop directly into my modem and it works fine. However, when I try to connect to wireless, nothing. I've tried to reset the router multiple times but nothing changes. Also, if I plug my modem into the router and then run another ethernet cable from the router to my laptop, I also have no internet. All the lights on the router are on so I don't think it's died (but let me know if that could be the case). Any help would be great as this is driving me crazy.

The lights on don't mean it works. I had a router that made me nuts for weeks. I also bought a brand new Linksys that didn't work either. I thought I was going crazy until I bought a new Netgear and all was well. They do fizz out.
