I'm trying to find out if its possible and how-to use my Linksys router as an access point.
Here's the situation: I recently moved into a house with someone who has his own wireless network setup using a Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B Broadband Router. I've got my own PCs networked together using a Linksys BEFW11S4 v.2 (oddly the same model number) Etherfast Wireless Access Point + Cable/DSL Router with 4 Port Switch. We would like to be able to shared the internet connection which is hooked up to his router. The routers are in different rooms, so I was wondering if its possible to have my router communicate with his router (to get internet access) via the wireless abilities of our routers? If so, how? Both of us have PCs wired directly to our routers so condensing into one router is not an option. Any help is greatly appreciated.
