I just bought a new GEFORCE MX 4000 graphics card today, and I put it into my computer. But i have grey lines going across the screen moving upward. It's really bad and makes the screen almost impossible to look at without getting dizzy. I installed the drivers that came on the CD with the graphics card but it didn't help. My computer is pretty old (hp pavillion 7960) but i have 512MB of RAM. If anyone has any ideas of what could be causing these lines, I would appreciate some help. I've tried everything I could think of!!

Check that the card is fully seated in the slot. If you can see any of the contacts, there should be the same amount showing along the length of the card.
Check that your monitor is properly connected.
If these steps fail, you might want to call the people you bought it from for a replacement.
