A friend told me he had just bought a PC with an analogue line-in connector - I thought he was mistaken but when I looked at the spec, sure enough it said line-in connector - I have never seen this before ona PC (only mic-in). Does anyone know of a PCI (not express) card that I can plug into my PC to give me this function? or any other way of giving my PC this function?

On my PC I use the onboard for recording and a PCI sound blaster for playing audio. This also means that you dont get any noise from using the front USB ports.
