The connection from computer to router turned to limited access although Device Manager Network Adapter Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN MiniCard looked normalI could not acces Internet
Does my network card die?

Try power cycling your router, unplug it from the power supply for 10 seconds then plug it back in, reboot your laptop as well. What do you mean it turned into limited access through device manager, device manager won't show you that, it will show you if you have a hardware or driver issue.

The wireless can be switched off or on in the bios. There may also be a key combination that can switch it off or on??? larry
If this is a wireless connection, limited access is sometimes displayed when the signal strength is poor. To check this out temporarily put the router and computer close to each other. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
You can also get the limited access message when you have a good connection to the router but no access to the internet. Try plugging your laptop directly into the modem with a network cord. Then check if you have Internet connectivity.
I powered off my laptop for a while. Then physically switched off and on the switch adjacent to the internal wireless of laptop until see a green light. My laptop reconnected to the router

Hi When I bring my laptop back my sister in law, It could not connect to the router with limit access.
My laptop had connect wireless with the router fine. And other computers and IPad connect OK with this router currently
Does my sister in law accidentally change my physical IP address in router configuration? Notice that my laptop is connecting fine with the router at home.
