read the post titled" Computer won't start" immediately below yours. Basic troubleshooting has been described here so many times it amazes me that anyone posts questions like this. Search the forum under the heading " Computer won't start" and see just how many times it has been addressed.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Did you reset the BIOS?

Does the monitor show signs of powering on? I know its stupid, but have you made sure the plug is switched on :)

This is an odd one though. You said you tried different video cards and monitors...odd.

1. Try the monitor on someone elses PC. This will tell you if the monitor is at fault.

2. Try the video card on someone elses PC.

3. If those two things are working fine, then you can narrow it down to your motherboard. Then its going to be down to your BIOS settings. Check that you have the correct VGA settings etc.

I have the same situation too.
there is no beep sounds, and the screen is all black. Both LED is lighted up, the red one keeps blinking. How to reset the BIOS anyway?

Reset the BIOS using a jumper on the MOBO ... if it has one.

Or, remove the MOBO battery with the computer unplugged for a "while".

And .... you will get a better response if you start your own thread.
