I cannot get my lexmark p3150 printer to install i have the installation cds that came with it. But it gets to the end of the installation process then says cannot install printer, print monitor unknown. Its connected thru USB and i have the service packs for XP. Anyone have any ideas....

I suggest that you check the documentation or the read me files on the CD to find out the correct installation proceedure. Usually the method for installing USB printers is to first install the software and then connect the printer. I suggest you remove the cable and any references to the printer in settings. Verify that the USB ports are installed and working properly. Reboot, install the software, connect the printer cable and windows should find the driver at that time.
