Lexmark 5700 not printing in colour

Comment:
I have a Lexmark 5700 printer which worked fine in Win2000 and suddenly stopped to print in colour. Colour objects on the print-outs appear very vague and look like there is a lack of colour inks in the catridge, although this is not true since I've just recently refilled the catridge fully (using "PC line" ink set for refilling ink jet catridges) and also the Printer properties window shows that the catridge is nearly full.
Did anybody come accross a similar problem before? I wonder if I need to clean something (printer head oranything like that) or maybe do some mechanical adjusting?
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE VERY WELCOME. Big thanks in advance to all who responds.
