Lenovo's S10-3c keyboard not working

March 14, 2011 at 21:00:51
Specs: Windows XP
s10-3c keyboard does not respond in any way. all keys are down. Even when I press CAPS LOCK, the light does not appear. i wonder what Standard PS/2 Keyboard is, it is currently installed as my keyboard and it says 'This device is working properly' on properties. isn't it like an external one? I am not really a technical person;I just know how to read and follow instruction. Hope someone can help me! Thanks!

Have you, or is it possible anyone else has....
- dropped this netbook computer, or dropped anything on it, or subjected it to a physical jolt otherwise ?
- spilled liquid on it, or exposed it to liquid such as rain, or sprayed it with liquid ?

Has there been a power failure event while the computer was plugged into the AC adapter ?
A nearby lightning strike ?

There is no reason your keyboard would not work other than it's damaged or your Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3c is otherwise damaged.

There is nothing in your User Guide that disables the keyboard.

Try a USB keyboard for the time being.
