LED Flashing and Computer Not Turning On

November 26, 2013 at 13:21:09
Specs: Windows 7
Last night when I put my desktop into sleep mode (windows), it turned itself off (fans stopped spinning and etc). The front fan with a red LED started flashing.. on off on off on off.. and this continues to happen while the power supply switch is on.

If I press the power button, it flashes faster.
The reset (restart?) button, slower.
Nothing seems to turn on the computer.

P.S. I also have a buzzer installed.

Hold the power button until it shuts down completely. Reboot & disable sleep mode & hibernation. I never understood them.

I agree with response #1...sleep mode is mostly for laptops to save power. You may just want to enable a screen-saver and not have your HD shut off.
