I've been looking at LCD monitors that have good resolutions. Now i have a 15inch and I'm giving my screen to someone and gettign a new one instead. I've seen LCD screens with a 1600X1200 resoultion but there overpriced. Over 800 dollers. Is there a screen with a resolution of that but is around 250 to 350 range or similar to that. If not is there any suggestions for a good screen that is really good image and resolution.

why don't you get a 19 inch 1280x1024, which is a nice upgrade from 15 inch, for $200-$350?

The smallest LCD monitors with 1600x1200 resolution are 20inch. In the U.S. 20inch monitors at Newegg start at about $470. Most 20inch LCDs have both analog and digital inputs. Many 19inch monitors only have analog input. If you are only looking for something to look large on the screen, than I suggest a 19inch. However, if you are looking for more "real estate" so when you have multiple windows open there is less overlapping then go with a 20inch. I just recently setup some 40 LCD monitors at work (a small software firm.) It was close to 50% each size. All of our employees prefer the 20inch LCDs if they must have a single monitor, because although it is only a slight size difference, they have over 30% more area for non-overlapping terminal windows.
