My Samsung SyncMaster 171v LCD doesn't display the system starting up when the computer is turned on. It only activates when the Win XP Logon screen appears. This obviously causes problems when I want to change system settings. Anybody know what the problem could be? Also, I am using an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX400 PCI video card.

were you at one time using two monitors? this happened when i was using two displays, and removed one of them. Before i removed the one, the startup was being displayed on the secondary screen. If so, try reinstalling the other card and then uninstalling it.
