I have a viewsonic lcd monitor. When I first turn it on for about 1-2 hours it makes a real faint popping noise which kind of sounds like static electricity. It does it mostly when I change pages. It will also set there by itself and make the popping sound about once every 5 minutes. I really hate to have to send it back unless I have to because I do not have any bad pixels and I am afraid that they will send me one that will. I am new to lcd monitors does anybody know if this is normal. Having no other problems.

Yes mine does that to but not as much as yours, I to have no bad pixels as it is new and I am new to LCD's to, but I just think it's the way LCD's are
On mine you hear a faint crackle like static electric, but happens very rarly, mostly happens when I turn it on after it's been of for a while and warms up, the noise tends to go then, or sometimes nothing happens at all
Don't worry about it, if you lose a pixel or two then there is something wrong
