Yeah you're absolutely right :-)

Sammy, if you're heavy in gaming, LCD is not suitable for you. If you try to change the LCD native resolution, the screen will look blurred. In this case, your best bet is CRT monitors.

To add to XPUser's last reply, LCD displays have one native resolution that looks the best. All other resolutions are extrapolated. What this means to you is that the edges may not be as crisp. So, it is best to run these displays in thier native resolution. That may not be the resolution you want to use. There are LCD monitors that are suitable for gaming. The response time may be more important than the resolution issue. An LCD display with a 25ns response time may leave artifacts on the screen when playing a fast paced game. There are displays with 12ns response time, of course they are more expensive. The bottom line is that if you decide to go LCD be prepared to spend more cash. This post is lengthy now so I won't get into all the other specs with LCD displays.
