I know I'm an idiot and I shouldn't have done this, but it's too late to take it back now. Just yesterday I went to clean my laptop monitor (15" TFT XGA LCD Monitor) and realized after I had finished that the bottom of the screen has been left very hazey. I sprayed the screen with water to clean, then wiped dry, and this left the screen hazey. It almost looks like a bunch of water spots are embedded within the screen. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without replacing the monitor? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Don't know if this will help or not, but I don't think it can HURT anything...
Open the system and put it in a sunny spot near a window, so that sunlight shines directly on the LCD screen, to see if you can evaporate the water vapor causing the haziness. Simple physics should do the trick here, and if it doesn't work, you should be no worse off than you are right now.
Good luck; let us know how things turn out...

I'll be sure to try this and let you know the results, thanks for your help. Also, it seems to be getting better slowly on its own, so I am guessing the water is evaporating like you said. Perhaps the sunlight will expedite the process.
