Considering buying a 21" LCD monitor. What specs should I look for? Main pc use is gaming. Video card is Radeon HD3870.

My advice would be to get a Samsung. They have a 'no dead pixel' policy.

Where did you get the idea that Samsung has a no dead pixel policy? I think they go by industry standard 8 dead pixels total with some smaller number in a tight grouping.
I could be wrong, which would be good news.
That said, I still think Samsung is your best bet.
I think 21" is an odd size. 22" is common.

Hi Othehill I saw a web site with a 2005 announcement by Samsung that said there was a 7 day replacement policy for monitors with any dead pixels. Unforunately I don't remember where it was and can't find it. There is also the possibility that it has been retracted.
If you do a Google search for 'Samsung zero dead pixel policy', you will see lots of conflicting comments about it. I'm no longer convinced that my comment was accurate. But I do think that a Samsung is probably the best choice for an LCD monitor.

Yea, I Googled too. Found Korea and Canada May have that policy. Didn't look further.
