Hi,

I'm about to buy an LCD monitor, and I hesitate between

A Viewsonic
http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/xseries/vx924/

and a Sony

I don't know much on monitors, so I'd like your help please.

Thank you very much.

With bad eyesight my priorities are:

contrast ratio
warranty

With good eyesight they would be:

warranty
price

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Don't think brand matters much, I have one called LiquidVideo, 17", when I was at the store I looked at all of them and the quality of the picture this one beat all the others for the price, pd 349 and 100 dollar rebate, so go for the looks of the screen when it is on at the store, my friends is a sony and hers is not as sharpe as mine, mine is 2 years old and no problems.
