I just installed a new AGP DVI video card so I could use an flatscreen LCD monitor from my brother. I’ve still got my original CRT monitor hooked up so I could download the driver from Viewsonic.
I've got both hooked up now but I'm not having any luck with the second monitor - can video cards be incompatible with monitors? I got a new XFX GForce AGP and downloaded the right drivers for the Viewsonic VPD150 but when it's on it looks like an old b/w tv without reception. Funny black and gray lines moving around.
Any ideas? Thank you!

are both monitors set to 32 bit? are the refresh rates correct? have you tried the flat screen seperately on the main agp output? sometimes when you change a setting on 1 monitor it affects the other and you have to change the other monitor aswell, dont know about monitor drivers ive never needed to install any i suggest you uninstall all video and monitor drivers, restart the pc install the latest graphics card drivers and see if it works then if so no need for monitor drivers it could be that thats causing the problems
