Comment: I have a dell Latitude CP 233ST and I do not have the service Tag and I have a bios password I accedently set DELL doesnt give a hoot cause its not registered in my name caus I bought it off the internet but I have the assembly and lbl pn and that sticker thats under the ram

the one way of doing this is to remove the bios battery from mobo and leave it out over night. the other would be to use back door service tech pass word.

..when i got my computer it was second hand..
and i had problems with it and i needed to access bios but... didn't know the password
i searched around on the net for a while and found a good program ...its called bois
i helped
want it ??

if it doesnt work
then download a program called rempass
..............
bois will tell you your password
but
rempass will *delete* your password and delete all bios settings
so i recomend you use bois

I have seen on ebay.com bios chip for dell laptop for $20.00
