Dropped something on my laptop while the cover was closed. Now there's a 1 1/2 inch wide vertical stripe down the length of my laptop screen inside of which the screen is completely blank. Warranty just expired 3 weeks ago. Any ideas what the problem might be? Should I look for a replacement display? Is this worth fixing? Computer is one year old with no other problems. Thanks!
